Chevrolet has redesigned the Chevrolet Equinox SUV for 2010. The 2010 Chevrolet Equinox SUV is a 4-door car comfortable for 5 passengers. Powered with 2.4L engine, the 2010 Equinox is available in 8 trims ranging from LS2WD to LTZ AWD. Six speed automatic transmission with overdrive is featured.
The Equinox has electric power steering system to reduce the use of fuel engine power and in the same time, increase the fuel economy. Chevrolet claims the 2010 equinox has better highway fuel economy than honda CR-V, toyota RAV4, and even ford escape hybrid. The aerodynamic windshield and lowered roof is also designed to achieve the excellent gas mileage.
If you compare the chevrolet equinox with honda all new CR-V, you will absolutely find the better interior and exterior design. It has a movable back seat to allow you adjust the back seat as you need it. However, you will not find under-floor storage on this car.
Navigation
Chevrolet puts Navigation and infotainment system with seven-inch touch screen color interface display, enhanced DVD-based navigation, and 40 GB hard drive with USB connectivity and voice recongnition. In addition to the available visual GPS navigation system, the navigation system supports turn-by-turn navigation with automated voice to guide you throught every turn to your destination. The car is also equipped with a rear-view camera, just like the one installed on chevy avalanche.
Safety Airbag
For safety purpose, the 2010 chevy equinox is also equipped with front and rear side head curtaion airbags. Passenger and driver airbags are all with dual stage development.

Two-tone interior is stunning & very tasteful. Even the LT model is well equipped for the price.
